Chapin Hall is a policy research center at the University of Chicago. Our mission is to provide our research and innovative ideas to policymakers, government officials, service providers, funders, and others who shape the policies and programs affecting the well-being of children and adolescents, their families and the communities in which they live. Chapin Hall's multidisciplinary research devotes special attention to young people experiencing significant problems—such as maltreatment, poverty, delinquency, and mental and physical illness—and to the service systems designed to address those challenges.
